The Problem Worth Solving

Pool and landscape designers spend 2-3 days manually estimating project costs after completing a design. They're working from spreadsheets, tribal knowledge, and gut feel, on top of software they already paid for that contains every measurement, material, and specification they need.

We're ending that.

Structure Studios builds the industry-standard 3D design software. We have proprietary data no one else has. We've built the engine that turns a completed 3D design into a full cost estimate in under 7 minutes. The MVP is 80% complete.

Now we need the product designer who helps finalize our MVP, and then designs what comes next.

This Role The MVP is structurally sound. What it needs now is a designer who will make the product easy to use, polish out the usability wrinkles, and keep designing as we add the next modules.

You'll work directly with the CEO and engineering. You take a feature from the first idea through Figma and a transparent handoff, and you stay with it until it ships. When a workflow is hard to follow, slow, or unclear, you make it work better. You turn a complex path (a finished 3D design into a price, a proposal, and a contract) into screens people can actually get through.

The visual system is already in place: type, color, and component language. You'll work inside it, and you'll design new screens when something is still missing. The work is the product. Information architecture, interaction design, dense tables, multi-step flows, and usability.

What You'll Own

Phase 1:

Learn the product and how people move through it. Learn the existing visual system and Figma file. Design the remaining screens and ship them with engineering.

Phase 2:

Find where the product is harder than it should be. Fix the flows, labels, empty states, tables, and steps. Stay with engineering so the shipped screens match the design.

Phase 3:

Design future modules. You will be the first product designer on this product. Your role will grow as the team and the product grow.

Why This Could Be Your Biggest Opportunity as a Product Designer

First Mover Advantage.

Workflow automation like this already exists in other industries, but it has not yet been applied effectively to ours. One reason is that the underlying data is owned by us.

Existing Customer Base.

We are not starting from scratch. We are solving a meaningful, expensive problem for customers who already know and trust us.

Established Company.

Structure Studios has been profitable for years and has a highly tenured team. Our average developer has been with the company for more than nine years

. We take a long-term approach.

Validated Demand.

We know our customers well and have spoken with them directly about this problem. It is a real pain point, and they are willing to pay for the right solution.

A Data Moat.

This product is possible because of the proprietary 3D design data we have built over many years.
