Job Description Assessmed is looking for the right individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk in a dynamic, high volume, multi-location organization. The role requires expertise in full cycle AR and AP, namely coding, data entry and approvals.

Accounting Clerk - Full time Location Mississauga, ON.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours:

Proven ability to accurately handle high volume of transactions, meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Commitment to delivering quality customer service supported by strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of people and answer queries in a professional manner

Flexible team player with the ability to function independently while working in a team environment

Must be reliable, with a robust work ethic and qualified attitude





Must possess strong organizational and time management skills

Other key qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of AR and AP Processes and Procedures

Experience in processing and analyzing large volumes of data

Strong computer skills in Excel and Word

Must be highly detail oriented and organized

Must be able to understand organization priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives

Ability to work effectively during times of organizational stress, ambiguity and change

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance creativity, problem solving and results

Prior experience in working with ACCPAC/Doclink/ Smart Simple would be advantageous.
