You will utilize Python and OpenSeesPy to create complex models, analyze data, and publish technical findings that enhance engineering practices in Canada and the U.S. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct seismic response analyses of high-rise buildings
- Create and validate advanced computer models
- Research and interpret seismic design provisions
- Write documentation for research methodologies and results
- Oversee and guide emerging engineering talents Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science
- At least five years of relevant experience in structural engineering
- In-depth knowledge of performance-based seismic design
- Experience with structural analysis software
