Residential Cleaner & Property Support

This position provides cleaning and general property support across several residential and business locations in Yellowknife.

Safety comes first in all aspects of the work, with tasks expected to be completed safely, responsibly, and with care for people and property. Approximately half of the time is focused on cleaning, with the remaining time spent on organizing, property upkeep, errands, general labour, and other hands-on tasks.

Duties may include

- Primary Duties:
- Routine and deep cleaning of residential properties
- Organizing and sorting of work and storage areas: papers, files, closets, tools, supplies, and storage areas, and develop straightforward systems to keep items orderly and easy to locate
- Snow shovelling, yard work, and seasonal property upkeep
- Moving furniture, boxes, supplies, and other items
- Running errands, including picking up supplies and completing garbage and recycling runs
- Basic care and cleaning of company vehicles and equipment
- Supporting meeting and event logistics, including setup and take-down
- Providing occasional transportation for clients or other passengers for business-related needs and activities
- Complete basic data entry related to assigned work, including recording tasks completed and other job-related information
- Other general property care and support duties as required

Asset / Preferred Skills
- Ability to perform minor maintenance or carpentry tasks such as painting, patching, furniture assembly, and basic repairs is an asset.
- WHMIS or other relevant workplace safety training is an asset.

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Satisfactory driver’s abstract




- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including regular lifting, carrying, bending, and working on your feet
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills, including sending and receiving email and entering simple work-related information into systems
- Dependable, organized, flexible, and able to work independently
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with clients

Position Details
- Salary: $28/hour plus benefits
- Three-month term position to start
- Part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week) or full-time ( 30–35 hours per week) options available.
- Work will be primarily Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in scheduling required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not provided
