We are looking for an experienced Indirect Operations Buyer to join our procurement team and support indirect purchasing activities that enable efficient plant operations. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, lead supplier negotiations, drive sourcing initiatives, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.What You'll DoProcurement & Supplier ManagementExecute local procurement activities aligned with sourcing strategies.Manage purchase requisitions, spot buys, and purchase orders through company systems.Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and risk considerations.Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required.Strategic Sourcing & Cost OptimizationLead local sourcing initiatives, RFQs, and tender processes.Conduct market analyses to evaluate supplier competitiveness and identify new sourcing opportunities.Develop and execute negotiation strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.Partner with cross-functional teams to identify Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VEVA) opportunities.Support the implementation of contracts, agreements, and procurement process improvements.Stakeholder PartnershipServe as the primary procurement contact for assigned facilities and internal customers.Provide guidance throughout the procurement lifecycle and recommend cost-effective alternatives when appropriate.Collaborate closely with suppliers, stakeholders,



and strategic sourcing teams.Identify key users across the organization to develop savings initiatives and improve procurement practices.Support production facilities in achieving shared savings and operational goals.Global & Regional CollaborationParticipate in global, regional, and local sourcing projects.Provide local market intelligence to category managers and strategic sourcing teams.Track procurement KPIs and drive compliance with negotiated contracts and purchasing policies.Collaborate with regional and global teams to deliver sourcing excellence and business value.What We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree1- 5 years of experience in PurchasingStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsExperience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationshipsExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong communication and influencing skillsERP system knowledge, preferably JDE and/or CoupaAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAvailability to travel as requiredAdditional information:This position replaces an existing roleSalary range for the role: $59,000 to $74.000 annuallyArtificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure: As part of our recruitment process, Autoliv may use artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools to support the screening, assessment, and evaluation of job applications.
