Umbrella Burger is hiring a full-time Restaurant Manager for our new Westboro location.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, hands-on, and comfortable leading a busy rapid-casual restaurant. This is a floor-focused management role for someone who enjoys working alongside the team and making sure every shift runs smoothly.
Compensation: $60,000/year + tips
Typical hours: approximately 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on the needs of the restaurant. Evening and weekend availability is required.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising the restaurant team
- Managing day-to-day restaurant operations
- Hiring, scheduling and staff organization
- Training and developing employees
- Maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and service standards
- Managing labour and helping control restaurant costs
- Handling customer issues professionally
- Working closely with ownership and our operations manager
- Making sure the restaurant is properly staffed and prepared for busy services
What we’re looking for:
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable and accountable
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Strong evening and weekend availability
- Someone who leads by example and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed
