- Supervise and manage retail staff, including cashiers and sales associates
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient and effective workflow
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock availability
- Train and mentor new employees, providing guidance on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Skills:
- Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage store expenses and maximize profitability
- Proven experience in supervising a team, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and suppliers
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences to make informed business decisions
- Proficient in cashiering duties, including cash handling, processing transactions,
and operating POS systems
- Experience in conducting interviews and selecting qualified candidates for employment
- Ability to sell products effectively by understanding customer needs and promoting features and benefits
- Knowledge of payroll processes and ability to ensure accurate payment of employees
