Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

Spirits on 101 is a locally owned boutique liquor store specializing in craft beer, spirits, wine, and unique products from Alberta and beyond. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in beverages, and takes pride in keeping a retail setting organized and welcoming.

What You'll Do

- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
- Operate the POS system and process cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
- Receive and put away deliveries
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and displays
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented store
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items
- Help with merchandising, promotions, and seasonal displays
- Follow all Alberta liquor regulations and store policies
- Open and/or close the store when scheduled
- Work independently and as part of a small team
- Help create a positive experience for our regular customers and new visitors

What We're Looking For
- Previous retail or customer-service experience preferred
- Liquor-store experience is an asset, but not required




- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Able to lift and move boxes/products as required
- Comfortable working independently
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- ProServe certification is required (or willingness to obtain it, if applicable)
- Availability for evenings and weekends is important

Position Details Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Approximately 35-40 hours per week

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Schedule: Store hours include days, evenings, and weekends

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
