About This Team The Digital Marketing – Retention and Lifecycle team creates owned-channel experiences that help guests stay connected to lululemon across email, push notifications, and personalized lifecycle journeys. We partner closely with E-commerce, Merchandising, Creative, Operations, Analytics, and MarTech to translate business priorities into guest-first campaigns that drive engagement, revenue, and long-term retention.
Core Responsibilities
This role supports the strategy, planning, and execution of retention marketing campaigns and lifecycle programs.
The Retention Marketing
Strategist will help turn business priorities into clear owned-channel plans, manage campaigns from brief through launch, and use performance insights to improve how we connect with guests.
- Develop email and push notification strategies for key product, seasonal, promotional, and lifecycle moments.
- Write clear campaign briefs and requirements that connect business goals, guest needs, audience strategy, messaging, and execution details.
- Manage campaign delivery from intake through launch, including stakeholder alignment, creative briefing, QA support, approvals, timing, and go-live readiness.
- Partner with Merchandising, E-commerce, Creative, Operations, Analytics, and MarTech teams to deliver cohesive guest experiences across owned channels.
- Review campaign and journey performance, identify insights,
and recommend optimizations to improve engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Support test-and-learn opportunities across audience, messaging, timing, creative, personalization, and channel strategy.
- Champion owned-channel best practices, scalable processes, and guest-centric decision making.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in owned-channel, CRM, lifecycle, retention, digital, or ecommerce marketing; experience with email and/or push notifications is an asset.
- Experience developing marketing briefs, campaign strategies, audience recommendations, or performance-based recommendations for cross-functional partners.
- Exposure to marketing technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, customer data platforms, campaign management tools, or similar systems.
- Foundational understanding of segmentation, personalization, automation, dynamic content, or email development concepts; HTML/CSS knowledge is an asset.
- Comfort using reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms to interpret performance and communicate insights.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance multiple timelines and shifting priorities.
- Curious about guest behaviour, lifecycle marketing trends, email and push best practices, and ways to improve owned-channel experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Compensation And Benefits Package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $112,200 - $147,200 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
