This role emphasizes creativity and technical guidance while ensuring high-quality, production-ready rigs. At WildBrain, you'll oversee the rigging team's daily activities, guiding them through regular reviews and approvals.
Collaborate with production and various departments to ensure that rigging needs align with creative visions and performance requirements. Your expertise will help innovate production workflows and improve rigging techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee rigging team’s daily tasks and provide feedback
- Collaborate across departments to support production goals
- Rig, troubleshoot, and maintain CG assets for performance
- Research and develop current rigging techniques and workflows
- Train and support artists on rigging tools and methods
Requirements:
- 2+ years in Rigging Leadership on feature productions
- Advanced proficiency in Maya and Python programming
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- In-depth understanding of anatomy and animation workflows
- Experience with crowd rigs and simulation systems is a plus
