Contribute to an exceptional guest experience at Whitewater Mountain Resort as a Full-time Loader Operator. This role focuses on operating heavy equipment and ensuring safe conditions across the resort.
Under the guidance of the Grooming Supervisor, you will operate loaders and Snowcats to maintain ski runs and resort areas. This seasonal position runs from November to April, requiring proficiency in equipment operation and adherence to safety protocols. Coordination with team members to ensure optimal conditions is key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy-duty equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain resort facilities including roads and parking areas
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections on equipment
• Collaborate with team on slope conditions and grooming
• Support during emergencies or rescue operations
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's license
• High school diploma required
• Experience with snowcats and heavy equipment is an asset
• Mechanical aptitude desirable
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
