About Caledonia Roofing
Caledonia Roofing is a growing roofing company serving Greater Victoria, Salt Spring Island and surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced, reliable roofers who take pride in their workmanship and want consistent, ongoing work with a professional company.
We are interested in both individual experienced roofers and established roofing crews.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Residential roofing installations and replacements
- Asphalt shingle roofing
- Tear-offs and roof preparation
- Underlayment, flashing and waterproofing
- Roof repairs and maintenance
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a roofing crew
- Maintaining a clean and professional job site
- Travelling to projects throughout Greater Victoria and Salt Spring Island
- Completing work to Caledonia Roofing’s quality standards and manufacturer specifications
What We’re Looking For
- Previous roofing experience required
- Strong knowledge of residential roofing installation
- Reliable and able to consistently show up for scheduled work
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Good workmanship and attention to detail
- Able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Own transportation required
- Own basic roofing tools preferred
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Safety-conscious and professional around customers and their properties
Experience with shingles, cedar, metal, slate, tile, flat roofing or sheet-metal/flashing work is an asset.
Compensation
Starting at $30+ per hour, with higher compensation available depending on experience, productivity and responsibility.
Higher rates are available for Salt Spring Island work.
For highly experienced roofers and established crews, production / price-per-square arrangements may also be available.
