Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as membrane roof rolls, shingles, plywood, and metal sheets to support roofing tasks
- Required to read, write and understand English.
- Use caulking techniques to seal joints and prevent leaks on roofing structures
- Support carpentry tasks as related to roofing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of team members during all activities
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, construction sites, or handyman work preferred but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
- Roofing experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Good physical condition with the stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
