Duties

- Safely install various roofing materials, including shingles, metal panels, and membranes, following project specifications and blueprints.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and utility knives to cut, shape, and secure roofing components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to transport supplies to work areas efficiently.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure watertight seals around vents, chimneys, and edges.




- Conduct site inspections to verify proper alignment and installation quality throughout the project.
- Assist with general construction tasks as needed, including framing, carpentry, and handyman duties to support roofing projects.

Experience

- Prior experience in construction or roofing installation is highly preferred; however, motivated newcomers with a robust work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic carpentry skills will be advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions accurately.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions.
- Previous handyman or carpentry experience can provide a solid foundation for success in this role.
