In this senior role, you will report to the Project Safety Manager and support the Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols essential to the success of our construction efforts. With a focus on the nuclear sector, your responsibilities will include training staff on safety procedures, tracking safety statistics, and managing return-to-work cases. Your expertise in emergency planning and health safety within the construction setting will be paramount to promoting a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support safety management plans and procedures for the project • Train project personnel on safety requirements and protocols • Track and report safety statistics at the field level • Assist in developing critical safety documentation • Support human performance program initiatives
Requirements: • CHSO or CRSP designation preferred • Minimum 5 years in Health and Safety within nuclear projects • Understanding of emergency planning and hot work procedures • Experience in a unionized environment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
