Schedule

- Tuesday to Friday - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

- Support store opening and closing procedures as a Key Holder, including securing the premises and overseeing daily operations.
- Answer customers' inquiries in person, via phone and via email
- Maintain organized stock levels, assist with inventory management, and ensure the store remains clean and inviting.
- Help customers book appliance repair appointments
- Assist our technician team in ordering parts needed for customer repairs
- Sell recent and refurbished appliances
- Prepare and end invoices for services and products sold and follow up when needed
- Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure attractive displays that highlight key products and promotions.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions,



cash handling, and receipts.
- Manage cash register operations, including cashiering duties, balancing tills, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience required
- Experience in appliances or furniture an asset
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience with merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering is required
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for transactions, balancing tills, and inventory counts.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A proactive attitude with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to connect with customers confidently.
