We’reseeking Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) to provide compassionate,high-quality care in a homelike setting—helping people live with dignity andindependence while creating moments of comfort, connection, and joy.The RoleAs a Health Care Support Worker,you’ll work directly in a live-in group home setting, supporting individualswith limited mobility in both their daily care and community participation.Guided by the Program Manager and working closely with a strong team, you will:Provide personal care, lifts, transfers,



and health support for individuals with mobility needsOperate an adapted wheelchair-accessible van for safe community accessSupport individuals with daily living activities, recreation, and skill developmentSafely administer, monitor, and record medications according to established protocolsApply positive behavioural intervention strategies, recognizing behaviour as communicationRespond to challenging situations using crisis intervention and risk management strategiesMaintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment, reporting safety issues promptlyBuild strong, respectful relationships with supported individuals, families, and colleaguesThis role requires a balance of compassion, clinical skill, and professionalism.
