Take a pivotal role at IWK Health as a Clinical Research Nurse in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Provide vital clinical and administrative support for the MIREC study in endocrinology while ensuring participant safety and compliance with regulations.

In this temporary part-time position, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary research team, principal investigators, and clinical staff. Your responsibilities will include providing nursing care, performing study-related procedures, and educating participants and families. Knowledge of Positive Clinical Practice and a commitment to participant confidentiality are essential.

Key Responsibilities:



• Review study protocols and orientation materials • Participate in study meetings and maintain knowledge of progress • Provide nursing care to trial participants • Perform study procedures like venipuncture as per protocols • Support informed consent processes and document data accurately

Requirements: • Active registration with Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator • 7+ years clinical nursing experience required • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred • Experience with GCP and study data management • Current CPR/BLS certification required
