Summerland Sweets is a family owned business located in Summerland, BC. We have an opening for a retail employee starting in September.
We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals for our busy tasting room and retail shop. Wine experience is an asset, but not necessary – we are happy to share our knowledge with you. If you enjoy interacting with people and providing excellent customer service, please send us your resume!
Responsibilities and Duties
Job duties include:
- Selling wine and providing guided wine tastings
- Assisting customers
- Serving ice cream
- Stocking shelves
- Light housekeeping
- Promoting events
- Assisting with packaging
- And other tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service
- Sales experience is an asset
- Serving it Right Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate an asset
- Must be 19 years of age or over
- Adaptable schedule (evenings and weekends)
- Able to lift approx 40lbs (a case of wine)
