Position Overview: Spadoni’s Furniture and Appliances is seeking an outgoing, friendly, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll guide customers through the furniture and appliance selection process, answer product questions, and ensure they have an excellent experience from start to finish. You’ll also be responsible for meeting sales goals, maintaining product knowledge, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in our showroom.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement. Greet customers promptly, identify their needs, and offer assistance in selecting furniture or appliances that match their preferences and budget. Provide personalized recommendations by understanding product features, pricing, and benefits.
2. Product Knowledge Stay updated on the latest furniture and appliance lines, promotions, and special deals. Understand warranty information and financing options, and be able to clearly explain these details to customers.
3. Sales Process,. Demonstrate features and benefits of products to help customers make informed decisions.



Meet or exceed personal sales targets while contributing to overall store performance. Handle negotiations and discussions around pricing in a skilled and respectful manner.
4. Sales Documentation & Transactions Prepare and process sales paperwork accurately, including sales orders, delivery details, and warranties. Work closely with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure a smooth handoff of sold items.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English for engaging with customers and team members. Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to connect well with diverse customers . Sales Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset but not mandatory.

Base Pay + Commission based on sales performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Education

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Serving It Right (preferred)
