Due to our growing events business, we are seeking a Sales & Events Manager who may either be experienced sales professionals OR those looking to get into their first sales role! Charbar was voted Top Unique Wedding Venue for 2025, we are excited to find a Sales & Events Manager to join our events team
Responsibilities
- This role will focus mainly on booking high-frequency, smaller gatherings (10 to 50 people) like office lunches, pharmaceutical reps, and intimate celebrations.
- Identifying key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through cold calling, events, and high-level prospecting.
- Articulating the services available and tailoring it to client-specific needs
- Complete BEO's and ensure execution of events exceeds clients expectations
- Assist with execution of events, small and large, weekend & evenings will be required
- Manage client interactions and communication through our CRM software
- Ensure accuracy of invoicing
- Complete site tours
- Administrative tasks as assigned
- Maintain high level of client and guest service
Requirements
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication
- Be target driven and thrive in a rapid paced, team goal focused environment
- Previous hospitality experience in a hotel events or restaurant catering environment would be beneficial
- Creative thinker, able to generate original ideas and develop innovative solutions, willing to explore possibilities beyond the norm
- Adept at balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
