As a Legal Counsel, you will work under the General Counsel, providing legal support across various domains including governance, compliance, and corporate matters. Your experience in private practice or an in-house legal department will be essential as you interact with executive leadership and external counsels in a multicultural workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts
• Provide legal support to operational development teams
• Assist in corporate governance documentation and compliance




• Manage litigation and employment-related legal matters
• Support public governance and ESG initiatives
Requirements:
• Licensed lawyer in Ontario or eligibility to become licensed
• Experience in mining, construction, or related sectors
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Strong corporate-commercial drafting and negotiation skills
