Intermediate Salesforce Engineer (Service Cloud)

Location: Remote (Canada)

Hours: Must be available to work Pacific Time (PST) hours

Contract: Contract Opportunity

Our client is looking for an Intermediate Salesforce Engineer to join an established Salesforce Service Cloud product team. This is a contract opportunity supporting an existing product squad responsible for continuously improving and enhancing customer-facing Service Cloud solutions.

This is not a project-based role. You'll become part of a long-term product team, working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver ongoing enhancements and support across multiple Service Cloud features.

Highly preferred

- Experience with Agentforce
- Salesforce AI technologies.
- Exposure to customer service or contact centre solutions within Salesforce.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Salesforce Service Cloud functionality.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- Support multiple feature streams across the Salesforce Service Cloud platform.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement scalable solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.




- Communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Experience
- 3–6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Experience working within Agile product teams.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and best practices.
- Strong judgment on when to leverage out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality versus custom development.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly explain technical design decisions.

Top Must-Haves
- Solid hands-on Salesforce Service Cloud experience.
- Experience working in an Agile product team.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals.
- Ability to make sound architectural and design decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently without relying on AI tools . Candidates should be comfortable solving problems and making technical decisions on their own. During the interview process, candidates will be asked about how much they currently rely on AI tools in their day-to-day work.
