Ideal candidates will exhibit adaptability and accountability while demonstrating solid communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of human behavior and criminal justice is crucial for effective risk assessment and safety management. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise offenders to ensure a secure environment
- Uphold security measures in the facility consistently
- Assist in rehabilitation and reintegration processes
- Implement and facilitate programming for offenders
- Document incidents and prepare comprehensive reports Requirements:
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence or equivalent
- First Aid and CPR/AED certifications a must
- Relevant education in social sciences or law enforcement
- Understanding of Canadian criminal justice and human behavior
- Ability to apply risk assessment and procedural compliance Contribute to safer communities as you enhance rehabilitation strategies in your role as a Correctional Officer.
