Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Saw Grinder, CNC Saw Grinder, or Knife Grinder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision grinding of saw blades and/or knives to ensure optimal performance and quality. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of manufacturing excellence, ensuring tools meet exact specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate and set up manual and CNC grinding machines to sharpen saw blades, knives, and cutting tools with precision.
- Program CNC grinders using CNC programming techniques to achieve accurate tool dimensions.
- Conduct routine inspections of finished tools using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform maintenance on grinding equipment.




- Follow safety protocols when working with machinery.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating grinding machines, including CNC machines, knife grinders and other grinding equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machines, and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience with warehouse operations including forklift operation is a plus.
- Competence in using hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
