We are currently seeking seasonal workers for a transportation project near Wandering River and Grassalnds. Our site is about 40km from Lac La Biche, AB.

The roles available are as follows:

Scaleperson: Recording and verifying the weights of loaded trucks hauling material to the construction project.

Checker: Communicating with and directing truckers on site where to offload the granular material.

Requirements:

Reliable and punctual.

Excellent communication skills.

Possesses a valid Driver’s License and a vehicle that can be used on site.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to work long hours, including overtime and weekends.

Candidates must successfully complete a background check.

Applicants must have their own accommodations in the area.

No previous experience is required.

The positions will start around mid-September and is estimated to run 4-7 weeks.
