Duties
- Set up and operate screen printing equipment to produce detailed prints on apparel, promotional items, or other materials
- Prepare screens by applying emulsion, exposing designs, and ensuring proper registration for accurate printing
- Mix inks to achieve precise colours and consistency across print runs
- Monitor print quality throughout production, making adjustments as needed to maintain high standards
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues with screens or machinery promptly to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with design teams to understand project specifications and translate digital designs into physical prints using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design software
Qualifications
- Prior experience with screen printing or related manufacturing processes is required
- Strong knowledge of screen-printing processes, inks, screens, and curing
- Ability to accurately register and print multi-colour designs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes of garments and supplies
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
