Soma Chocolatemaker is looking for a seasonal FT BOH Chocolate Production Assistant at our King Location. Work within a small dynamic passionate team to make award-winning bean to bar chocolate, baked goods, and gelato.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to increase their knowledge, learn techniques and gain experience in chocolate/bakery/gelato production.

Position Details

· 1 Temporary FT position (August - December 2025), with possibility of extension

Duties

· Assisting with making chocolate and confections

Requirements

· A passion to learn about the chocolate

· Experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is mandatory.



Experience in a chocolate setting is an asset but not mandatory

· Details-oriented and consistent

· Able to understand and speak English

· Able to work independently and in a team

· Able to lift a minimum of 20kg

· Able to stand for long periods of time

· Able to work legally in Canada (work visa or permanent resident)

Wage: Competitive hourly
