Hensall Co-op is seeking Seasonal Scale and Yard help to assist our harvest team. This is a seasonal position, starting asap until the end of November.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weigh, sample and record inbound and outbound commodities (wheat, corn, beans etc.), ensuring load meets proper specifications
- Perform all the daily activities related to the elevator and the movement of inventory (grain, feed products, corn, beans etc.), both internal and external
- Direct inbound loads to proper area for unloading
- Test and grade product quality using laboratory machines
- Complete all load records/documentation, enter into computer and file properly in a timely manner
- Respond to incoming/outgoing loads daily and ensure product goes to proper designated storage area
- Respond to customer inquiries/concerns and direct to proper personnel
- Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the elevator
- Load and unload incoming trucks and accurately document required information
- Answer phones and assist with general office duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in an agricultural setting and knowledge of different crops and general agricultural processes is an asset
- Ability to work evenings and weekends

Pay: $20.50-$25.00 per hour
