Kiewit is hiring experienced TIG & RMD/FCAW B-Pressure Hand Welder Foremans for the Woodfibre project located in Squamish, BC.

Job Duties Duties include:

Completing carbon steel & stainless steel (304L) closure welds for module interconnects

Working in tight spaces/at heights

Completing carbon steel and stainless steel (304L) welds for new construction piping systems

Requirements

Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding ticket oran equivalentcertification with the ability and willingness to apply for a recognized credential through a provincialtradesqualifier program.

If you hold an equivalent certification/experience, you must be willing and able to obtain BC registration

5+ years’ experience with TIG (GTAW) welding stainless steel and carbon

5+ years’ experience with stick (SMAW) hand welding

RMD experience is an asset

Must pass weld tests per company standards – Stainless TIG, Carbon TIG, Carbon Stick, RMD/FCAW

Must have experience performing welding work in outdoor environments, varying weather conditions, and restricted spaces

Shift Information 14 x 7 days, 10-hour shifts;overtime as per collective agreement

Completion of 50 DI with no repair
