The Opportunity

MY CPA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of excellence with all levels of corporate and personal tax compliance and planning, while maintaining focus on personalized and continual success for each and every client.

Key Responsibilities

- Thinking strategically and providing solutions through understanding the client/business needs
- Preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, personal and corporate tax returns
- Communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency to support client needs




- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Identifying and analyzing data discrepancies and taking necessary actions to correct errors
- HST calculations and filings The Ideal Candidate
- Has obtained their CPA designation (or is in the process of obtaining)
- Would intuitively treat each client’s situation as if it were their own
- Is a self-starter that shows initiative and works well in a busy team environment
- Possesses strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and excel in a rapid-paced environment characterized by changing priorities
- Is a team player with a positive attitude
- Has experience with QuickBooks, Caseware, Personal Taxprep and Corporate Taxprep

Compensation To be determined based on experience and skill set.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
