Seeking Experienced Communications Professional (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred)

We are looking for a dynamic Communications Specialist to join the SAP Plus Program team. This role will report directly to the Change Management and Communications Lead, initially working in tandem to build out the program's communications strategy before transitioning into independent ownership of program communications.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and shape the strategic approach to communications and engagement for the multi-year SAP Plus program.
- Develop, execute, and maintain the 90-day rolling communications and engagement plan.
- Create, edit, and QA communication materials across multiple platforms, ensuring high quality, consistent branding, and tone.
- Draft and refine messaging, presentations, and reports for senior leadership, executives, and board members.
- Adapt and tailor communications for frontline, technical, and field-based personnel (~2,000 technicians and operations staff) as well as corporate office stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication efforts between internal cross-functional teams, external partners, system integrators, and board members.




- Build communications best practices and consistency across all functional areas on the program.
- Build effective partnerships with the Change Specialists on the program to ensure alignment.
- Identify opportunities and plan for engagement events as the program matures (e.g., roadshows).
- Translate and adapt communications between English and Spanish as needed (infrequent currently, supporting Mexico operations, but expected to expand).

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in communications and engagement, with proven history supporting large-scale, multi-year, multi-functional programs or complex corporate transformations (SAP-specific experience is not required).
- Crucial Requirement: Proven experience communicating with frontline, technical, or field-based personnel—not strictly corporate/office audiences.
- Balanced capability as both a strategic thinker who can shape a program plan and a hands‑on creator who produces and QAs materials.
- Strong organizational, project management, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Full qualified bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a strong plus / highly preferred asset, though strong candidates with partial or no Spanish are still encouraged to apply.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
