Join the multidisciplinary team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a Research Technician. Utilize your molecular biology and genomics expertise in this temporary full time role focused on cancer epigenomics.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and offers an engaging research environment. You will conduct experiments involving Hi-C and other cutting-edge assays while working with patient-derived models. The role involves troubleshooting, data collaboration, and maintaining meticulous records to support precision oncology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform wet-lab experiments on cancer epigenomics
• Execute chromatin and sequencing assays, including Hi-C and CUT&Run;
• Prepare next-generation sequencing libraries efficiently




• Work with patient-derived models, like organoids
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of lab protocols
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology or related field
• At least 3 years of wet-lab research experience
• Hands-on experience with genomics techniques
• Proficiency in sequencing library preparation
• Strong communication skills in English
