We are seeking a driven and highly organized Senior Accountant to join our team!

KIW and Company LLP is a boutique accounting firm located in the Greater Toronto Area, providing accounting and tax services.

The successful candidate will be able to independently complete compilations, corporate tax, and personal tax files, as well as review the work prepared by others, identify issues requiring adjustment or follow-up, and ensure files are ready for partner review.

Responsibilities include

- Preparation and review of working paper files
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Preparation and review of tax returns, both corporate and personal
- Bookkeeping and analysis of financial data
- Payroll and preparation of T4s and T5s
- Dealing with CRA on client tax related matters

Requirements:




- Minimum 3-5 years experience working in an accounting firm
- Proficiency in Caseware, QuickBooks, Excel and tax software
- Experience reviewing, supervising or acting as an engagement senior
- Robust analytical skills with an attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Understanding of Cantonese would be an asset

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
