Requirements
Must have:
- We require a university degree in business computing, computer science, or computer engineering.
- We require 7+ years of professional experience.
- We need strong experience working with complex information systems.
- We require the ability to speak and write English fluently.
- We expect familiarity with Agile practices and Agile Scrum.
- We value an organized, methodical, and analytical mindset.
- We need strong communication skills.
- We require hands‑on knowledge of SQL Server, C#/.NET Core, Angular, design patterns, and continuous delivery/CI implementation.
- We require experience with test‑driven development (TDD).
- We require the ability to commute to or relocate to Montréal, QC before starting.
- We expect the candidate to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- We develop new features, which includes coding, architectural and design decisions, testing, quality tracking, and documentation.
- We present features to stakeholders and product owners to deepen business understanding and gather feedback.
- We take part in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and demos.
- We deliver software that meets our standards and provide operational support when needed.
- We improve our CI/CD practices and automate tasks.
- We help the team build new components and upgrade existing systems to ensure proper interfacing with industry‑wide securities referentials.
- We act as an analyst programmer on the CDS migration project.
- We foster collaboration and encourage participation in our communities or the creation of new ones.
