About the Opportunity Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Registered Cardiology Technologist Advanced evaluates and assists in the diagnosis of patients’ cardiac status through a variety of noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests. Responsibilities include preparing patients for and performing site-wide electrocardiograms, signal-averaged electrocardiograms, ambulatory monitoring (Holter/Event Monitor preliminary reporting), and physician-assisted exercise tolerance testing (stress testing). The Registered Cardiology Technologist Advanced also provides preceptorship and mentorship to new learners within the department.
About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Grade 12 plus successful completion of a Cardiology Technology programor acceptable equivalent
Current registration and good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
Current BLS(HCP) certification
Solid sense of initiative and responsibility
Ability to adapt to flexible workload and stressful situations
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours
Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits $32.48 - $36.65 hourly
