- Complete complex civil engineering assignments involving design, analysis, evaluation, specifications and field execution.
- Review engineering designs, calculations, technical documents and project deliverables.
- Develop or modify engineering methods, systems and models to support project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, nuclear standards, quality requirements and client procedures.
- Evaluate technical issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Support field activities, testing and the resolution of construction or operational challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, project management and client teams.
- Provide technical guidance and review the work of other team members.
- Prepare progress updates and technical reports for project leadership.
- Perform other project-related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario is required.
- Minimum six years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Previous experience supporting nuclear power projects or operating nuclear facilities.
- Active OPG or Bruce Power security clearance, depending on the assignment.
- Strong knowledge of applicable civil engineering codes, standards and analytical methods.
- Stress analysis experience is required for a minimum of 2–3 OPG-cleared positions.
- Experience with specialized civil or structural engineering software is an asset.
- Solid technical writing, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
