The Senior
Consultant will work with clients in domestic and multinational companies across various and diverse industries. Apply business, accounting, finance and analysis skills to various client situations and practice disciplines Review financial statements and perform quality of earnings/cash flow analysis Assess business plans, cash flows,
and analyze large amounts of data associated with restructuring plans Conduct financial due diligence and financial analysis of clients and potential target companies Understand all aspects of the client’s business including review of operational and financial performance Draft written reports and/or presentations on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities Work with the client’s senior management, restructuring / legal / finance experts on work engagements You’ll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Economics, or Finance Minimum of 3 years of relevant post‑graduate experience Understanding of financial statements and corporate functions Advanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed up to 60% Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full‑time basis; CPA, CFA or MBA preferred Relevant experience in a professional services firm (public accounting, consulting, etc.) Professional verbal and written communications, including report writing Strong interest in finance and working in a qualified services environment FTI Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation.
