Join the City of Saskatoon as a Utility Operator, working weekend nights within the Roadways section. This full-time position requires skilled operation of multiple heavy equipment types.
The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education and five years of hands-on experience with construction equipment. As part of the Transportation and Construction division, you’ll maintain equipment, provide training support, and uphold service records while reporting to the Operations Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various heavy equipment effectively
• Maintain and service all assigned machinery
• Train others in equipment operation and care
• Document service and maintenance records clearly
• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education required
• Experience with heavy construction machinery (5 years)
• Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver’s Licence required
• Valid driver’s abstract with a secure history
• Must be able to secure a first aid certificate
