Street Health in downtown Toronto is looking for a Relief Environmental Service Worker. This role supports our service mission through essential maintenance and cleaning duties.
As a non-profit operating for over 30 years, Street Health focuses on improving the wellbeing of homeless individuals. We require Environmental Service Workers to perform a variety of tasks, from cleaning to minor repairs. Successful candidates will have relevant experience and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules with short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough cleaning of inside and outside facilities
• Follow health and safety protocols in clinical spaces
• Dispose of harm reduction equipment safely




• Maintain gardens and courtyards consistently
• Assist in unloading supplies and maintaining an inviting workplace
Requirements:
• 2+ years in building maintenance and repair expertise
• Understanding of substance use and harm reduction approaches
• Flexible schedule for last-minute shift changes
• Excellent communication abilities
• Police Vulnerable Sector Screening Clearance required
