Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking localJourneyperson Carpenters for work at our Teck project in Kamloops, BC Schedule Rotation: 14/7 Rotation Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement Start Date: ASAP What You Will Be Working On





Experience working at heights with shoring and gang forms Slab and footing formwork, with DOKA Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware What We Are Looking For

Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Carpentry CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 ESC Fall Protection + Arial Work Platform Working at Heights Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions We thank all applicants for their interest in working for Bird Nason Contracting Group, however only those identified for further consideration will be contacted.
