We are looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Architect for a subcontractor engagement with a leading client in the Insurance domain .

? Location: North York, ON, Canada

? Work Model: 3 Days in a week Onsite - Work from Office is must.

? What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Databricks Architect with 12+ years of Data & Analytics experience and 5+ years of Databricks Architecture experience .

Strong hands-on experience in:

• Databricks Data Engineering – including at least one end-to-end Databricks implementation

- Data Transformation & Data Pipeline Development

• AWS Cloud Platform – strong AWS ecosystem knowledge

• AWS Services – S3, Redshift, Lake Formation, etc.

- Apache Spark / PySpark
- Data Lakes, Data Warehouses & Lakehouse Architecture
- Databricks Unity Catalog & Delta Lake
- Databricks Genie, Mosaic AI & Agent Bricks
- Data Modeling, Governance, Metadata & Data Quality
- AI/GenAI, Data Modernization & Advanced Analytics

? Ideal Candidate A hands-on technical leader with strong AWS Databricks architecture and data engineering experience , excellent problem-solving and delivery skills, and the ability to lead enterprise-scale data and AI initiatives from architecture through implementation .





Strong consulting, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and customer-facing communication experience is highly valued.

? AWS Solution Architect certification is preferred.
