We are looking for a cabinetmaker with 3-5 years of in office experience in a commercial environment. You will be responsible for operating various woodworking machines and shaping surfaces, all while ensuring project specifications are met. Supervisory duties will also be a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Use power saws and shaping tools for cabinet creation • Prepare detailed specifications for cabinetry • Shape wooden surfaces and apply finishes • Instruct and supervise apprentices effectively • Maintain a clean, organized worksite
Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of woodworking experience • Cabinetmaker Trade Certification is advantageous • WHMIS certification necessary • Own transportation required • Capable of lifting heavy materials up to 100 lbs
