Role: Sr. Frontend Developer

Location: Must be based in Canada (available EST hours)

Duration : 2-3 months starting September (possible extensions)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will bring engaging digital experiences to life for digital marketing and e-commerce solutions, working with up-to-date frameworks and best practices to deliver accessible, high-performance code.

You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders, contributing to both new builds and enhancements of existing platforms. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, but you must be based in Canada and available to work during EST hours.

Responsibilities

- Technical design and development of engaging experiences using complex components for digital marketing and e-commerce solutions
- Maintaining, extending, and enhancing existing code & tests
- Accurately reproduce provided design/UX as accessible & performant code
- Following established SDLC processes, policies and guidelines for software development
- Troubleshoot and correct complex software defects, through troubleshooting, defect fixing
- Review and approve pull requests of other team members

Desired Skills:
- 4+ years React (TypeScript preferred)
- Experience with state management (hooks, context, React Query, Redux)
- Solid Next.js experience (SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, server/client components)
- Hands-on experience with Contentful or another headless CMS (content modeling, APIs, previews)
- Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Strong HTML, CSS, responsive design skills
- Solid understanding of performance, accessibility, and cross-browser support




- Experience with unit testing
- Familiar with modern tooling (Node, NPM, build processes)
- Comfortable translating business requirements into scalable front end solutions
- Strong team collaboration in Agile environments

The hourly range for this position is cad 60-80 with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
