Role Description The Senior NetScaler Consultant is a remote contract role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Citrix NetScaler (ADC) solutions for client environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing existing network and application delivery architectures, configuring and troubleshooting NetScaler appliances, and ensuring secure, high-performance application delivery.

The consultant collaborates with client stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical designs, and produce documentation such as runbooks and configuration standards. This role also involves performance tuning, high availability and disaster recovery planning,



and integrating NetScaler with identity, security, and monitoring tools. The consultant provides guidance, knowledge transfer, and best practices to client technical teams, while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong experience with Citrix NetScaler / Citrix ADC, including configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and high availability.
- Solid background in networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, SSL/TLS) and application delivery concepts.
- Proficiency with security features such as SSL offloading, application firewalls, access control, and integration with identity and access management solutions.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable, resilient NetScaler architectures in on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational runbooks for client teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Professional, Citrix Certified Expert, network/security certifications) are beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote consulting capacity.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional client teams and stakeholders.
- Prior consulting or enterprise infrastructure experience a is an asset.
