We're looking for a Senior or Intermediate Project Engineer to join our team at Crean Hill!

The Senior or Intermediate Project Engineer is responsible for the sustainable and reliable delivery of Magna Mining’s capital and operational projects. This role provides technical expertise in project planning, engineering, coordination, and execution to support the safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of projects across operations.

Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee capital and operational projects from initial scoping through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.

- Support development of project scopes, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and execution plans.

- Review technical drawings, designs, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

- Coordinate engineering and design activities with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

- Work with project controllers and schedulers to monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and deliverables and identify risks or issues that may impact successful project delivery.

- Provide technical expertise and practical solutions to support project execution and resolve engineering and construction challenges.

- Coordinate contractor and consultant activities to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project requirements.





- Support procurement activities, including the development of scopes of work, technical specifications, bid evaluations, and vendor reviews.

- Coordinate construction, commissioning, start-up, handover, and project close-out activities.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of project costs and timelines.

- Ensure projects comply with health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.

- Prepare and maintain project reports, schedules, forecasts, technical documentation, and project records.

- Provide project updates and technical information to management and key stakeholders.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering and technical personnel as required.

Requirements

Qualifications: Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is required.

Work Experience: Nature & Length
- 5-7+ years of engineering and project experience, preferably within mining, heavy industrial, construction, or a related environment.





- Experience coordinating and executing multidisciplinary projects through various stages of the project lifecycle.
