We are seeking a full-time Senior or Intermediate Engineer to play a key role in the development of our company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and complex projects within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead projects related to mine water treatment and water management
- Produce engineering deliverables at the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design levels
- Design and execute R&D; projects in partnership with mining companies
- Support our operations team: Analyze operational data and provide recommendations
- Define client needs, prepare service proposals, and contribute to business development
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate resources
Desired Profile
- Degree in civil, chemical, biotechnological, environmental, or equivalent experience
- Senior Engineer: 10+ years of experience in the mining industry, in water management or water treatment
- Intermediate Engineer: 5+ years of experience in the mining industry,
in water management or water treatment
- Expertise in mining water treatment: coagulation, flocculation, pH adjustment, filtration, fluidised bed bioreactors, sulphide and hydroxide precipitation, RO membranes, ozone, and cyanide destruction
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Complementary knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering for the design, fabrication, and operation of plants
- P.Eng. in British Columbia, Alberta, or another provincial or territorial engineering association
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Autonomy, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Fluency in French is an asset
Work Location
Position based in one of our offices (Vancouver or Calgary), with the possibility of remote work. Occasional travel to mining sites is expected.
