Post End Date: August 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the Administrative Professional (Employee Group) Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Engagement, the International Partnerships Coordinator advances Brock University's internationalization priorities by developing, managing, and strengthening global academic partnerships and international engagement initiatives. The incumbent serves as a key liaison between Brock International, academic and administrative units, and external partners, supporting the development and implementation of international agreements, student and faculty mobility opportunities, international projects, and delegation visits. The incumbent provides guidance on academic partnership-related activities, ensures alignment with institutional priorities, governance and risk management requirements, and oversees the tracking, evaluation,



and reporting of partnership activities and outcomes to support Brock's global engagement and enrollment objectives. The International Partnerships Coordinator will:

Develop, maintain, and strengthen international relationships and strategic networks that support Brock University's academic, internationalization, and enrollment priorities; Identify, assess, and pursue opportunities for recent international academic partnerships, pathways, articulation agreements, dual degree programs, and other collaborative initiatives; Support academic and administrative units in the development, review, negotiation, implementation, and renewal of international agreements, including memoranda of understanding (MOUs), articulation agreements, dual-degree agreements, and other partnership arrangements; Advise faculty and staff on institutional policies, approval processes, compliance requirements, governance considerations, and best practices related to international academic partnerships and engagement activities; Work with academic leaders and advisors to assess transfer pathways, transfer credit equivalencies,



and opportunities to maximize alignment between Brock programs and prospective international academic partners; Serve as the primary contact for international academic partnership inquiries and maintain effective ongoing relationships with partner institutions and organizations; Ensure existing and prospective academic partnerships align with Brock University's strategic priorities and international engagement objectives; Identify potential academic partnership barriers, risks, and operational challenges and recommend appropriate solutions; Promote and share international funding, project, collaboration, and engagement opportunities with faculty and campus partners; Coordinate and maintain processes related to international academic partnership requests, agreement approvals, renewals, pathway development, and partnership implementation; Maintain accurate records, databases, tracking systems, and documentation related to international agreements, partnership activities, transfer pathways, delegation visits, and engagement initiatives; Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness, sustainability, and strategic alignment of international academic partnerships and related initiatives; Conduct research on international higher education trends, transfer policies, academic partnership models, competitor institutions, and emerging opportunities. Key Skills and Experience:

Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Experience in academic advising, program development and/or partnership development/maintenance in a post-secondary environment; Relevant experience advising Academic Chairs, international partners and other university units about the opportunities related to international partnership models and opportunities.
