The City of London is actively hiring two part-time temporary Tourism Counsellors for up to one year. You’ll respond to visitor inquiries in-person and online, promoting London’s attractions and providing essential support during events. This role combines customer service and administrative tasks effectively, showcasing your organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process inquiries from visitors and provide accurate information
• Maintain and organize tourism materials and brochures
• Act as host during guided tours, delivering key information
• Develop and assist in creating tourism-related brochures
• Offer support for events and travel trade shows
Requirements:
• Six months completed in Tourism and Travel Diploma
• Three months of experience in related roles
• Solid computer skills with typing speed of 50 w.p.m.
• Must possess a valid Class G Driver's License
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
