Seeking a Senior Power BI Developer / Data Architect for an enterprise ADDS Power BI solution.

Assignment Type: Onsite – 5 days/week - Toronto Downtown

Responsibilities

- Develop solution architecture, data flow diagrams, and conceptual/logical/physical data models.
- Design Databricks Lakehouse and Power BI semantic models.
- Define security, RLS, governance, data lineage, and performance strategy.
- Design environments, CI/CD pipelines, NFRs, and architecture sign-off documentation.
- Build Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports.
- Integrate Power BI with Databricks and enterprise data sources.
- Develop advanced DAX, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.
- Configure RLS and optimize model, report, query, and refresh performance.
- Support testing, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Requirements





- 5+ years of Power BI development experience
- 7+ years of Data Architecture experience

Required Skills

- 7+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience.
- Expert-level Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.
- Strong dimensional modeling, star schema, data warehouse, and semantic model experience.
- Strong expertise with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and SQL Server.
- Experience with governance, security, lineage, RLS, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
- Solid requirements gathering, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Minimum 3 years of public sector and/or healthcare experience.
